SHINE for Kids recognises the importance of working with children and young people, building on existing skills, learning new skills, developing positive self esteem, and strengthening relationships with others.

For children of prisoners, the period of initial separation and the return home of their parent(s) are two vital periods in the child's life. Intensive, individualised work helps guide children through these changes. By making connections with various outside agencies, we are able to provide children and families with the services they need.
