SHINE for Kids centres provide child-friendly, supportive venues for children and families to drop in when visiting
prisons. The Centres provide a positive experience for
children while they play and meet other children in a similar situation. The Centres provide emotional support
and assistance for families to connect with other families.
These Centres offer the opportunity for children to be
minded whilst the parents have a chance to build on their
relationship without the children being present for the
whole visit.
