Giving the skills and services of your business for free is called pro bono. Firms that commonly provide pro bono work include accountants, law firms, marketing and IT firms, and tradespeople supplying expertise and labour without remuneration.
For a community group such as SHINE for Kids, the provision of a pro bono arrangement to complete necessary work is invaluable, especially as the skills or qualifications provided are often outside those
within SHINE for Kids."
Similar to the concept of pro bono work is that of discounted goods and services. While not offering services for free, the discounts can nonetheless save SHINE for Kids a lot of money.
SHINE for Kids receives pro bono services from:
- KPMG
- Peachy Print
- graphic designers Cyberdog Design who maintain the site
- Blue Arc who host the website
If you are considering a pro bono arrangement to benefit SHINE for Kids, please contact us on (02) 9714 3000.
